Yes, our park has its own parking space and at some bungalows you can also park directly in front of the house.

Thanks to our solar panels, we have a charging station for the electric car.
The charging station only works with our own key, call the manager for this.

If you prefer to stay in a B&B, you are very welcome in our B&B: De Moerbei also in the Cocksdorp,

How do I reach Texel and your park by car?

To reach our park, you first travel to Den Helder to make the crossing with the TESO ferry.

  • The ferry (TESO):

    • The boat departs every hour on the half hour (e.g. 10:30, 11:30) from Den Helder. Extra sailings will be used when it is busy.

    • Tip: You don’t need to make a reservation for the boat. However, we recommend that you buy your ticket online in advance via teso.nl based on your license plate; this saves time at the entrance gates.

    • The crossing takes about 20 minutes.

  • From the boat to Eibernest:

    • As soon as you leave the boat on Texel (at the harbor of ‘t Horntje), follow the main road (Pontweg) towards Den Burg/De Koog.

    • Bungalow park Eibernest is centrally located on the island, so you can reach us from the boat in about 15 to 20 minutes .

    • Use our address for your navigation: Molenlaan 30

  • Parking:

    • At our park you can park your car safely and for free at the bungalow (or in the central parking lot, depending on your specific situation).

How do I reach Texel and your park by public transport?

Travelling to Texel by public transport is easy and well organised. Here is the step-by-step plan:

  • Step 1: Train to Den Helder Take the train to Den Helder station. From the station, the bus (Line 33) leaves every 30 minutes (at 12 past and 42 past the hour) and takes you directly to the TESO ferry port in a few minutes.

    • Please note: Make sure you take the train that connects to the boat of the half hour.

  • Step 2: The Ferry (as a pedestrian) As a foot passenger, you can buy a ticket at the ticket offices in the terminal or online in advance. The crossing takes 20 minutes. You don’t need to make a reservation for the boat.

  • Step 3: From the harbour to Eibernest (De Texelhopper)
On Texel, there is no standard city bus to every street, but we use the Texelhopper. These are small buses that take you from the harbor to the stop near our park.

    • Reservation required: You must reserve the Texelhopper at least 30 minutes in advance via texelhopper.nl or the Texelhopper app.

    • Which stop should I choose for the Texelhopper?
For Bungalowpark Eibernest (Molenlaan 30), book the Texelhopper to Stop 110 (Molenlaan).
This stop is located directly at our park. So you almost step out the door!

Tip: Book the Texelhopper at least 30 minutes in advance via the website or app to make sure the van connects to your arrival by boat.

Additional information for the trip to De Cocksdorp:
Because De Cocksdorp is the furthest from the ferry port (‘t Horntje), the travel time with the Texelhopper is about 30 to 35 minutes.

Fixed bus (Line 28): In contrast to the earlier stops I mentioned, the large bus (Line 28) also runs all the way to De Cocksdorp. Guests can therefore also opt for the large bus without making a reservation, but the stop of the large bus (often in the center of the village) is a little further away than the Texelhopper stop 110 which is located directly on the Molenlaan.

    • Payment: You can travel with your OV-chipkaart, but you can also buy individual tickets from the driver or in the app.

  • Big Bus (Line 28): There is also a large bus (Line 28) from the port to Den Burg and De Koog. This runs at fixed times and you don’t have to make a reservation. However, from the nearest stop of Line 28 it is still a short walk/bike ride to the park, so we recommend the Texelhopper for luggage.
